The owners of Amokura purchased a section in a Hamilton subdivision and wanted to build something different. Their brief to the designer included privacy, simplicity, large outdoor areas and sun. This four-bedroom, two living area home features vertical ship lapped cedar cladding and an interior cedar slat wall, polished concrete flooring with underfloor heating, a striking black kitchen, sleek tiled bathrooms with custom made vanities, LED lighting and high-quality fittings.
