Meet the team

Craig Wallace and the team at CJW Build are passionate builders who are known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Craig Wallace

Craig Wallace is a fully qualified builder and licensed building practitioner with a vast amount of experience building architecturally designed homes. In the industry since he left school, Craig became a qualified builder in 1992 and started CJW Build in 2001. Since then CJW Build has gone on to win numerous Registered Master Builders House of the Year gold and category awards for their outstanding homes. Craig is a past president of Waikato Master Builders and is still an active member on the committee. Craig actively supports a number of charities and is a major sponsor for the Hamilton Wanderers Football club where he is a life member.

Eric Fassler

Eric Fassler has been with CJW Build for over 10 years, working on at least 12 homes including award winners Braid Road and Kelly Place. Originally trained as a cabinet maker, Eric pivoted his career to complete his building apprenticeship with CJW Build and is now a fully qualified builder foreman. Eric’s craftsmanship is second to none and he values the opportunity to use these skills on the fine details of the architectural homes we specialise in.

Grant McCluskie

Grant McCluskie first completed his apprenticeship with CJW Build over 20 years ago, before returning to the fold in 2015 after an overseas hiatus. Now a fully qualified builder foreman, Grant has significant experience with both renovation and architectural new builds. A friendly guy, Grant’s practical skills and knack for keeping things running smoothly on site are a huge asset to our team.

Tim Richardson

Tim Richardson entered the building industry fresh out of school and has been building ever since. After seven years building in Perth, Tim recently returned home to New Zealand with his young family and joined the team here at CJW Build. A fully qualified builder foreman, Tim is thoughtful and thorough. He has a particular interest in home renovations and the unique challenges they present.

Shanan Douglas

Shanan Douglas is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone. Shanan looks after the day to day running of the CJW Build office, and the administrative logistics that are so important to keeping our building projects on track. Shanan goes above and beyond to do what-ever is needed, and loves seeing our clients’ dreams progress from drawings to reality.

Dan Gribbon

Dan Gribbon has been with CJW Build since leaving school 5 years ago. Dan has recently become fully qualified and was a finalist in the 2019 Apprentice of the year, which has seen him progress to becoming one of our foreman.
